As an art educator, Hélène Farrar has always understood the importance of having her own working studio practice. Her creative exploration influences and deepens her students’ experiences. And since opening a private art school in a historic Maine farmhouse, she can turn away from a painting in her studio and walk right into a class where students are making creations of their own.
